IMPORTANT: This is a closed-cell mat. Closed-cell mats do not absorb moisture and therefore don't decay or degrade under normal usage. However, moisture will collect on the surface (because it is not absorbed). Therefore, you should use a towel when practicing in hot/humid conditions - as well as for hygiene reasons. If you want an all-purpose mat that is ideal for hot (Bikram style) yoga or practice power/vinyasa (with a towel) then this mat provides the best blend of high performance, stability, comfort and durability available today and the best value for money.
